I stay at this location a lot, but this review is actually about a time I wasn't! Went in to ask a question about another site (luggage store) and they were SO helpful we were able to leave the luggage with them and then we stayed to have drinks in the bar. I wish I could recall the names of the 3 people at reception that day but I've been pretty tardy about leaving this post. Hopefully they know who they are (after joking I'd only come back earlier than pm if something went wrong, I had to return within 5 mins to retrieve a powerbank). In my experience though this standard of help and courtesy isn't unusual in this hotel - it's the norm - but it's hugely appreciated!

The hotel is in a good location for trains and bus services, close to all shopping areas, and pubs places to eat. It felt very safe to me although I did not stay out late The room was clean and tidy, well maintained. No noise from inside the hotel, but outside was very noisy most of the night into the morning, with traffic so if you’re a light sleeper as I am, you won’t be getting much sleep. This comment is only from the room I stayed in which is located to the side of the building. Staff very pleasant and polite

We stayed here and it was fab. A staff member on reception (Nemo) was just incredible. Was so helpful, friendly and was lovely to my little boy. We stay at a lot of premier inn's and Nemo was just the best staff member we have ever encountered. staying in Premier inn's all over the country. Thank you so much.

Lovely and clean hotel arrived late and was met by a lovely guy called Gary he was so helpful as never visited before. We needed extra pillows and towels and Ellie from house keeping was great nothing was to much trouble for her. They made our stay perfect it's nice when hotels have great staff that make the hotel more comfortable

Had a very comfortable couple of nights here. Staff were very welcoming, fun chatty, well informed and helpful when I needed things. Attached restaurant is very good, steak was fantastic and breakfast the usual Premier Inn high standards.

Had a warm welcome and a smooth check-in experience with Pauline. Overall staff are friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and spotless, mattress comfortable as advertised. Linen was clean but not immaculate. Breakfast was rich and varialed, although the cooked breakfast was a hit-and-miss, with some bits overcooked and some undercooked. Hotel is very conveniently located. I would recommend despite the little flaws.

A good choice staying at this hotel. It is clean and comfortable, and in a good location a short walk from Birmingham railway station. It is across a small road from the Cathedral, which we had a view of from our room. The family room was spacious though i would have appreciated more hooks especially since it is winter and many things needed to be hung up - multiple jackets, clothes, towels. The single bed had a pillow and the king bed had two pillows, with another two pillows stowed in the cabinet. The pillows were rather flattish but that's easily solved by buffering it with a jacket or neck pillow. The mattress near the headboard very soft and sank low. So we put the pillows at the other end of the mattress and our feet nearer to the headboard instead. These solved, the sleep was deep and restful. Great location near the Cathedral Square Christmas Market and the Frankfurt Christmas Market, yet not noisy. Very peaceful. Also walking distance to the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery which is highly recommended! Good breakfast. I especially loved the cooked selection!

Visited for a quick shopping trip and German market visit. Location of hotel is great. Few minutes walk from New Street station, Bullring and the German market if staying at Xmas time. The welcome from Jacob was fantastic, very welcoming. We stayed in a premier room. As expected spotlessly clean and tidy. Rooms are slightly smaller than others I’ve stayed in but I expect that from city centre locations. My only tiny issue wa the beds seemed harder than usual but I guess that personal preference. There was also a few maintenance issues which is raised solely to make them aware. Nothing that hindered our stay. All in all lovely hotel and I’d stay there again without question. We didn’t use the restaurant which is unusual for us but only because we had other plans. Looked fab. Thanks guys. See you again some time.
